Nursery Education Grants                                                                

All 3 and 4 year old children living in Sefton are entitled to access funding for Early Education from approved settings within Sefton.

This begins the term following their third birthday up until the end of the reception year, when they are five years of age.

Early Education is defined by the Department for Children, Schools and Families as 5 x two and a half-hour sessions per week, for 38 weeks of the year.

Parents are entitled to choose from approved settings and claim funding via the Nursery Education Grant.
